**Experience Required:**
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.
– Proven track record in managing donor funds, project budgets, and financial reporting.
– Knowledge of compliance areas such as FCRA, TDS, and GST for Indian NPOs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and manage organizational and project budgets aligned with strategic goals.
2. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, and FCRA.
3. Review Grant and consultancy agreements and oversee ongoing compliance.
4. Manage financial reporting for donors, stakeholders, and management.
5. Oversee cash flow, fund utilization, and financial forecasting.
6. Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve findings promptly.
7. Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
8. Manage payroll processing and vendor payments accurately.
9. Provide financial insights through MIS or PowerPoint presentations.
10. Maintain robust financial systems, policies, and internal controls.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (essential).
– Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
– Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA (highly desirable).
