**Experience Required:** Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.  Proven track record of managing donor funds, project budgets, and financial reporting. Experience with compliance in areas like FCRA, TDS, and GST for Indian NPOs is essential.

 

**Job Description:**

 

The Finance Manager at CEEW will ensure robust financial management and sustainability by overseeing budgeting, compliance, donor fund utilization, and reporting.  This role requires aligning financial strategies with organizational goals, maintaining transparency, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.  The successful candidate will provide accurate financial insights and foster efficient resource allocation to support CEEW’s mission.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and manage organizational and project budgets.

* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, FCRA).

* Review grant and consultancy agreements and manage related compliance.

* Oversee financial reporting for donors, stakeholders, and management.

* Manage cash flow, fund utilization, and financial forecasting.

* Coordinate internal and external audits.

* Monitor and control expenses.

* Manage payroll processing and vendor payments.

* Create financial reports (MIS, PowerPoint presentations) for strategic decision-making.

* Maintain robust financial systems, policies, and internal controls.

* Manage all types of audits (Statutory, FCRA, and Internal).

* Prepare financial statements and reports.

* Collaborate with program teams on funding alignment with project deliverables.

* Mitigate financial risks and recommend cost-saving measures.

* Help automate and migrate accounting processes.

* Implement and provide training on organizational policies.

* Oversee the use of financial software and ensure data security.

 

 

**Selection Criteria:**

 

* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (essential). A master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.

* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks). Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools. Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and MIS reports. Knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and fund accounting.

* **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.  Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
