## Finance Manager – Asia

**Job Location:** India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia
**Experience Required:**
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting or a related field, plus 4 to 5 years of related experience.
* At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
* Significant experience with managing grants and donor financial reporting.
* NGO experience is highly desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
* Support the Programs Division in pre-award grant proposal development, review, and negotiation.
* Provide support on post-award financial and accounting management to ensure compliance with donor agreements.
* Support the Program Division in planning, forecasting, and management of revenue streams.
* Develop and implement industry standard grant management and compliance procedures.
* Monitor adherence to grant and agreement requirements.
* Prepare accurate and timely donor reporting, dashboards, and other key donor deliverables.
* Support in the development of materials/tools for onboarding of new Finance staff on grant/award management and revenue management.
* Institutionalize Heifer’s systems and tools, including capturing and sharing of best practices for cross-area replication and support.
**Qualifications:**
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles with a strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
* CPA Finalist or ACCA certification is preferred.
* Experience in financial management in a senior position level is preferred.
* Experience in developing training materials and coordinating and conducting training sessions is preferred.
* Experience in large grant management and reporting through bilateral and multilateral donors, e.g., United States Agency for International Development, European Union, Department for International Development (United Kingdom), Canadian International Development Agency is preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively, tactfully, and diplomatically with a culturally diverse group of people.
* Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks with limited supervision.
* Ability to apply sound personal judgement in dealing with sensitive or critical information.
* Ability and willingness to work with a flexible schedule.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively for meetings.
* Proficient in English, both oral and written.
* Computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, electronic mail software, and accounting software/ERP systems.
**This is a short-term position for 6 months with the potential to become full-time.**
