**Job Title:** Finance Officer – AMP Himalaya – Action for Mountains and Peoples in the Himalayas

**Position Description:**
ATREE seeks a Finance Officer to manage project finances for AMP-Himalaya. This role involves overseeing accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, and collaborating with field teams in diverse Himalayan landscapes across India.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Financial Management:** Prepare vouchers, maintain accounts, process payments, and conduct audits.
– **Budgeting & Forecasting:** Develop budgets, forecast funds, and manage grant expenditures.
– **Tax Compliance:** Handle GST, IT, FCRA, FEMA, and coordinate with auditors.
– **Vendor & Payroll Management:** Oversee vendor relationships and payroll processes.
– **Risk Management:** Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications:**
– Commerce graduate with 3-5 years in project finance, preferably in NGOs or social impact sectors.
– Strong communication, adaptability, and technical skills (Excel, ERP experience advantageous).
– Genuine interest in environmental conservation and sustainable development.
