**Job Title:** Finance & Administrative Specialist

**Position Summary:**
The Finance & Administrative Specialist will provide essential finance, operations, and administrative support to WRI’s Global Equity Program. This role involves coordinating operations for the Land & Resource Rights Practice, assisting the Operations Manager, managing budgets, grant compliance, and supporting the Global Director with administrative tasks. The position requires a blend of financial acumen and strong organizational skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Financial Management (45%):**
– Manage project budgets by monitoring expenses and preparing reports.
– Coordinate budget closeouts and ensure financial reconciliation.
– Prepare proposal budgets and ensure alignment with activities.
– **Grant Management (40%):**
– Ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions.
– Monitor transactions, commitments, and revenue to support financial health.
– Prepare grant reports and facilitate subgrant agreements.
– **Administration (15%):**
– Manage the Global Director’s calendar and travel arrangements.
– Assist with visa applications and prepare trip materials.
– Oversee expense reports and timesheet monitoring.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations.
– Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in operations, with strong process orientation.
– Work authorization required (WRI does not sponsor visas).
**Salary Range:**
– US: $57,000 – $64,000 annually.
– India: ₹9,5 L – ₹12.5 L annually.
