Job Description

This is a remote position.

About the position:

We are looking for an outstanding Full Stack Developer who would be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application.

You will also design the overall architecture of the web application and evolve it to ensure maximum performance and stability. You will also be involved in customizing the web interface through its modular structure by developing a web application that communicates with a MySQL database over a REST-ful API. The position requires front-end development in Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements and Integration of front-end & back-end aspects of the web application
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Working with OpenMRS to ensure compatibility

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in computer science or a related field

Experience:

• Between 2-4 years of work experience.

Skill Sets:

• Proficient in JavaScript, Angular 10+, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, MySQL, REST APIs
• Strong understanding of Git or other code versioning tools.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted applications on AWS, Digital Ocean or other VPS providers
• Familiarity with Linux or other Unix-based operating systems
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Prior experience working on open source projects is preferred & OpenMRS preferred
