**Experience Required:**
* Relevant college or university degree.
* Experience working in an office setting.
* Experience working with a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office.
**Job Summary:**
The Fundraising Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting PETA India’s Fundraising Department by providing administrative assistance and ensuring exceptional donor care. This role involves handling correspondence, organizing events, maintaining donor records, and contributing to the department’s overall success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage supporter correspondence and telephone communication in a timely and professional manner.
* Generate welcome packs, letters, and responses to requests for information from PETA India members.
* Send out major donor updates as required.
* Support the Fundraising Department in planning and organising special fundraiser events, including sending out invitations, making reminder calls, sending gifts to donors, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure smooth execution.
* Assist the department in establishing new fundraising initiatives, such as employee payroll distribution, legacy giving, and corporate collaborations.
* Maintain accurate records of donor interactions on the membership database, adhering to PETA India’s data protection policies.
* Oversee face-to-face fundraising campaigns.
* Serve as a primary contact for donors and assist them with making donations.
* Express gratitude to donors through phone calls, emails, and postal mail.
* Assist the fundraising team in managing donor inquiries.
* Answer phone calls.
* Maintain and update departmental paper and electronic files.
* Perform ad hoc administrative tasks for the department.
* Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

* Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and effectively with limited supervision.
