**Job Title:** Fundraising Coordinator

**Reports To:** Head of Fundraising
**Term of Employment:** Full-time
**Experience Required:**
* Relevant college or university degree.
* Experience working in an office setting.
* Experience working with a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office.
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties:**
* Handle supporter correspondence and telephone communication in a timely, professional manner.
* Generate welcome packs, letters, and responses to requests for information from PETA India members.
* Send out major donor updates as required.
* Support the Fundraising Department in planning and organizing special fundraiser events (including sending invitations, making reminder calls, sending gifts to donors, and coordinating with relevant teams).
* Assist the department in setting up new fundraising initiatives (such as employee payroll distribution, legacy giving, and setting up collaborations with corporations).
* Ensure accurate records of donor interactions are logged and maintained on the membership database, adhering to PETA India’s data protection policies.
* Oversee face-to-face fundraising campaigns.
* Serve as a primary contact for donors and assist them with making donations.
* Thank donors via phone, e-mail, and post.
* Assist the fundraising team with handling donor inquiries.
* Answer phone calls.
* Maintain and update the department’s paper and electronic files.
* Perform ad hoc administrative duties for the department.
* Undertake any other duties required by the supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
* Relevant college or university degree.
* Experience working in an office setting.
* Experience working with a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a high level of ethical conduct.
* Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and effectively with limited supervision.
* Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
