**Job Title:** Government Procurement Specialist

**Job Location:** Remote, India
**Employment Status:** Consultancy (6 months, part-time)
**Experience Required:**
* More than 15 years of experience in the chemicals/water sector.
* Proven experience in drafting and managing government tenders, particularly in health, water, or sanitation sectors.
* Deep understanding of Indian government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
* Ability to identify and articulate technical requirements in tender documents and assess their feasibility.
* Graduate degree/diploma in chemical, water, or related engineering/technical field.
**Responsibilities:**
* Draft a comprehensive pro-forma government tender for tablet-based dosing solutions for water treatment, ensuring alignment with government standards.
* Collaborate with the program team to define technical specifications within the tender.
* Validate the feasibility of technical specifications.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant government procurement regulations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and meet program objectives.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Fluency in Hindi/Telugu is desirable.
* Prior experience working with public health or sanitation programs in India is preferred.
* Familiarity with water treatment or chlorine dosing solution standards and guidelines.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
