The Apprentice Project (TAP) is a Great Place to WorkⓇ certified, for-impact organization dedicated to transforming government & low-income schools by offering holistic development for all children. Our vision is to revolutionize education by fostering 21st-century skills through innovative and inclusive learning experiences.
We empower students from marginalized backgrounds in India using technology. Our AI and NLP-powered WhatsApp chatbot, TAP Buddy, provides co-curricular electives like Visual and Performing Arts, Coding, STEM, and Financial Literacy, nurturing creativity, self-confidence, and problem-solving abilities.
Currently, TAP impacts over 34,000 students across ten states in India, with students showing a 2x improvement in creativity and a 74% improvement in self-confidence. In 2024-25, TAP aims to work with 100,000 students across multiple states through various government partnerships.

**Role Summary**
* **Location:** Remote (Pune, Mumbai, Delhi)
* **Time Commitment:** 25–30 hours per week
* **Reporting to:** Team Lead – Visual Arts
* **Compensation:** Rs. 5000/- per month
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with the curriculum team to develop visually compelling designs for digital and print media.
* Create graphics and videos for educational content used in videos with children to impart 21st-century skills.
* Assist in designing characters and backgrounds for educational content videos for the Scratch Jr. app.
* Develop creative digital assets as required.
* Contribute to creating visual guidelines for the videos, ensuring all designs align with them.
* Review and revise design work based on feedback from the team.
* Stay updated with the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work.
**Qualifications & Experience**
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
* Proficiency in graphic design software such as Procreate (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva).
* Strong illustration and graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail.
* A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
* Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Basic knowledge of video editing and animation is a plus.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
