Piramal Foundation is looking for a qualified graphic designer in the Central Communications team who will create communication collaterals that build brand and visibility of the Foundation.

Job Description

• Design and layout of visual content for external and external communications across all media (print, social and digital) that reinforces our brand and is appropriate for our various audiences (leaflets, brochures, mailers, posters, digital flipbooks, social media creatives etc.)

• Create infographics and PowerPoint presentations to simplify communication of complex concepts and data

• Edit video clips for use on social and digital media platforms

• Create simple short videos to highlight key programs and campaigns

Responsibility

• Work independently and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction

• Manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Support team in developing and executing communications plans

• Study relevant information and materials related to the design topic

• Interact with program teams etc. to get a clear understanding about the requirement

• Stay abreast of latest design trends and incorporate these into designs

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design or related field from a reputed institute

• 3 to 5 years of work experience as a graphic designer

• Proficiency in graphic design software – Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, CorelDraw – and Microsoft Office

Additional requirements

• Strong eye for visual composition

• Good communication skills

• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, brand identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design

• Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social & digital media platforms

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues

• Experience in development sector related designing will be an added advantage
