Job Opportunity for Graphic Designer at Vihara

The context

We are looking for a motivated and passionate designer to create collateral across web and print mediums for Vihara Innovation. The Graphic Design associate will produce assets and source imagery for internal and external presentations, website, social media platforms and email campaigns. The position will entail the representative is a self-starter, committed and reliable with deadlines – as well as open to feedback and collaboration. He/She should also be, organized, detail-oriented, independent individual with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities in a fast-paced, high-performing and remote dynamic environment

What will your day to day look like?

• Extending & establishing branding: Brand & market research, mood board, visual routes, typography, colour palette for building upon the brand identity.
• Ensuring consistency in visual grammar and identity across all channels.
• Campaign strategy, ideation & conceptualization with the marketing team.
• Designing compelling, consistent creative assets for all platforms including social media posts, emailers and banners.
• Developing new ideas, concepts, moodboards and visual routes
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.

Role

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Strong design skills and branding sensibilities.
• Creativity with the ability to follow brand guidelines with attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency for pending deadlines.

Good to haves (skills / experiences)

• Strong in-depth knowledge and expertise in design softwares such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign).
• After effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, Google suite will be a plus
• Passion for and knowledge of current and emerging design trends in the industry.
• A clear communicator, who is fluent in English, able to come up with ideas, conceptualize, design and present.
• Understanding of human centered design and user insights is a plus.
• Advertising background is a plus.
