**About the Role:**

WWF-India is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as Head of Monitoring & Evaluation. This role is crucial to ensuring the effectiveness and impact of our conservation projects and initiatives. The Head – Monitoring & Evaluation will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing, implementing, and managing robust monitoring and evaluation systems across the organization.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework for WWF-India, aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.

* Design and oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data on project performance and impact.

* Lead a team of M&E specialists to ensure high-quality M&E data collection, analysis, and reporting.

* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance M&E methodologies and practices.

* Provide technical guidance and support to project teams in implementing effective M&E plans.

* Ensure that M&E findings are effectively communicated and utilized to improve program design and implementation.

* Advocate for the importance of M&E within the organization and to external stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**

* Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or a related discipline.

* Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in the field of Monitoring & Evaluation, preferably in a conservation context.

* Proven experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

* Excellent analytical skills and experience in statistical software packages.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Passion for environmental conservation.
