**Job Description:**

The Head of Finance plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial viability and future success of The/Nudge. This position will lead all aspects of the finance function, including strategy, accounting, compliance, taxation, treasury management, and reporting.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide strategic financial guidance to the management team on key decisions.

* Design and implement robust financial and reporting systems to support organizational growth and diverse operations.

* Oversee strategic and operational budgeting, forecasting, and process monitoring.

* Deliver data-driven insights to inform senior management decision-making.

* Report to internal and external stakeholders, including management, the board, donors, and regulatory authorities.

* Manage funds and treasury operations, optimizing risk, returns, and liquidity.

* Manage organizational risk and legal affairs.

* Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws.

* Review monthly financial results.

* Collaborate with all impact streams on new initiatives, assisting leadership in scaling The/Nudge’s operations.

* Provide regular financial and regulatory updates to the Board.

**Qualifications:**

* 15+ years of experience in startups or Tier 1 corporates.

* Strong hands-on leadership style with a growth and learning mindset.

* High energy and passion for impactful work.

* Proven modeling and financial planning skills.

* High comfort level with technology solutions for financial processes.

* Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA qualification.

* Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* FCRA/NGO knowledge.
