**Job Description:**
The HR Lead will lead the Human Resources function, aligning HR strategies with Indus Action’s mission, values, and goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, fostering a positive work environment, managing talent acquisition and employee development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Strategic HR Leadership:** Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Indus Action’s mission and objectives. Collaborate with leadership to shape organizational culture and foster employee engagement.
* **Talent Acquisition & Management:** Oversee recruitment, develop and manage onboarding programs, and create succession plans.
* **Employee Relations:** Advise management and staff on HR matters, develop employee engagement initiatives, address employee concerns, and conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
* **Learning & Development:** Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Promote continuous learning opportunities.
* **Compliance & Policy Management:** Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
* **Performance Management:** Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to managers on conducting performance reviews.
* **Compensation & Benefits:** Oversee the design and administration of equitable and competitive compensation and benefits programs, aligning with the organization’s budget.
* **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:** Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture and develop initiatives ensuring equity and inclusiveness in all HR practices.
**Qualifications:**
* MBA in HR (Full-time)
* 6+ years of post-qualification experience in Human Resources.
* Preference given to candidates with non-profit experience and team management experience (minimum 2 years).
**Technical Skills:**
* Strong administrative and communication skills.
* Organized, proactive, and process-oriented approach.
* HR reporting skills and prior knowledge of HR software preferred.
* Training and development skills.
* Ability to develop and implement initiatives promoting employee engagement, boosting morale, and creating a positive work environment.

**Compensation:**
Compensation will be based on Indus Action’s compensation benchmarking rubric, depending on qualifications, experience, and fit. The organization will cover the annual maintenance cost of the candidate’s laptop (up to 12,000 per year).
