**About The/Nudge:**

The/Nudge is an action institute dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty.  We collaborate with women, farmers, tribal communities, and youth across various sectors including rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion.  We partner with over 15 central and state government agencies and have impacted 25 million Indians across 10 states, leveraging $250M in government funding. Our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenge programs support over 200 social entrepreneurs.  The/Nudge is supported by 90+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporations, and 15+ foundations, including prominent organizations like the Gates Foundation, Mackenzie Scott, and Tata Trusts.  Our ultimate goal is a poverty-free India within our lifetime.

**About the Impact Hub:**

The Impact Hub serves as a leading Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and knowledge center for the livelihood ecosystem. We conduct high-quality evaluations and research, providing impact measurement and management for all T/Nudge programs. We collaborate with top organizations across government, market, and civil society sectors, creating knowledge products (reports, white papers, etc.) to generate actionable insights.  Our focus is on evaluations and action research grounded in field realities and adaptable to the evolving ecosystem.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Design impact assessment frameworks for programs.

* Define M&E frameworks for each program, including metrics and addressing data collection challenges.

* Lead evaluations (including third-party and multi-stakeholder evaluations) to deeply understand program outcomes and generate insights for program refinement.  This involves collaboration with external stakeholders.

* Access and integrate external data sets (government and non-government) with internal data to inform program learning and broader field insights.

* Contribute to the Impact Hub’s thought leadership in impact evaluation, influencing policy and practice from a practitioner’s perspective.

* Train and mentor junior team members.

* Effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**

* Master’s degree (developmental studies, public policy, or rural development preferred).

* 7-12 years of experience in the development sector, with at least 2 years in India or other developing countries (rural/urban livelihoods, education, health, or environment). Experience with incubation support, impact investing, or government engagement is desirable.

* Strong analytical and synthesis skills; experience with complex datasets and building analytical frameworks.

* Ability to apply theoretical frameworks to practical situations.

* Experience in developing tools and managing field data collection.

* Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

* Proven experience in training and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

* Passion for making a difference and solving complex problems.

* Comfortable with non-profit sector salaries.

* Knowledge of Kannada is strongly preferred.
