## Implementation Coordinator 

 

**Leadership For Skilled Education Foundation (LFE)** is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of public education systems in India. We believe that public education systems are the gatekeepers of social equity, particularly for the 120 million poorest children who attend government-run schools. Our approach focuses on building the capacity of government system leaders and influencing system processes to create effective and equitable education systems. 

 

**About the Project:**

 

LFE, in partnership with Mantra4Change, is supporting the Andhra Pradesh Government’s ambitious plan to revamp its government school system. The “Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation” (SALT) project aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning in classrooms, enhance human capital, and reduce learning poverty across the state. The project is implemented in close collaboration with the Department of School Education, SCERT, SIEMAT, and local DIETs. 

 

**Job Location:** Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Frequent travel to rural areas across the state is required.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Oversee the implementation of teacher training courses and sessions in designated districts.

* Support program managers and be accountable for project outcomes across different deliverables as outlined in the project scope.

* Collaborate with government stakeholders to build their capacity and ownership of the project.

* Conduct regular update meetings with organizational and government leadership, providing progress reports in a consumable format.

* Create timely project status and impact reports for the leadership team and government stakeholders.

* Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing necessary support through district visits and team collaboration.

* Visit training sites, classrooms, and offices across the state to oversee implementation and use observation data to adjust plans.

* Design and implement people management structures, including team reviews, individual check-ins, and learning circles.

* Participate in organizational team spaces and structures.

 

**Requirements:**

 

* **Education:** Degree in education/teacher development or related social science/management discipline. A master’s degree is highly preferred.

* **Experience:** 4-7 years of experience leading large-scale training programs, preferably with the government or government school teachers. Must have led at least 1-2 projects in the government education sector at the state or district level. Proven experience in managing teacher training projects and training delivery. Experience working in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana is preferable. 

* **Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:**

    * Excellent written and oral communication skills. Functional knowledge (oral and written) of Telugu is highly preferred.

    * Ability to take initiative and work in an autonomous, semi-structured environment.

    * Belief in the potential of the public sector and its ability to overcome systemic inequities.

    * Working experience or knowledge of public policy implementation is highly preferred.

    * Basic understanding of social equity, development discourse, and education policy in India.

    * Adaptability to changing responsibilities and resourcefulness.

    * High openness to learning.

    * Ability to influence people, build relationships with multiple stakeholders, and create outstanding presentations.

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.

    * Patience and resilience to overcome setbacks and uncertainties.

 

**Compensation:** 

 

The individual will receive a competitive compensation package at par with non-profit sector benchmarks, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The current compensation band offered is 5.5-7.5 lakh INR per annum CTC.
