Role and Responsibilities
1. Managing Firewall, Active directory and Network.
2. Checking existing systems and suggest improvements.
3. Applying technical solutions to strengthen systems.
4. Advising on suitable hardware and software to meet company needs.
5. Acquiring, installing, testing, and maintaining project components and operating systems.
6. Performing standard operating procedures.
7. Managing and monitoring LAN/WAN and Wireless network services.
8. Recommending equipment replacements and upgrades and handling purchases.
9. Maintaining an inventory of systems and network devices.
10. Performing routine systems and software audits.
11. Troubleshooting problems.
12. Addressing system concerns and hardware failures.
13. Create documentation explaining solutions to problems.
14. Should have a strong technical background in networking technologies including DNS, TCP/IP.
15. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organization and planning skills.
16. Positive attitude and ability to work through obstacles and roadblocks.
17. Must be able to navigate through ambiguities and flexible to multi-task changing priorities.
18. Strong detail orientation, follow-through capabilities, and escalation of key issues, superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skillset
Must have
1. 3+ years of experience working with different operating systems like Windows and Linux.
2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Familiarity with configuration and installation of different services for Linux OS.
4. Advanced knowledge of Firewall and Security.
5. Familiarity with TCP/IP and different protocols.
6. Certification in networking is a bonus
Education
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Experience
1. 3+ years of working experience as hands on industry experience.
2. 3+ years of experience working with different operating systems like Windows and Linux.
3. Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.
4. Good technical knowledge of Operating systems, Firewall and Network.
5. Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress.
6. Respond to technical queries/requests from various team members and customers.
7. Facilitate technical decisions; incorporate feedback and emergent patterns.
8. Experience in Firewall and Active directory management.
9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
10. Proven experience in Migrating and setting up networks and Active directory services.
11. Demonstrated ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
12. Ability to work with minimal direction with a focus on quality outcome.
13. Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14. Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication skills
