At WOTR Centre for Resilience Studies (W-CReS) you will: 

• Be a part of a team for action / applied research projects 
• Work in close coordination with the trans-disciplinary team including practitioners
• Provide support to develop training modules for communities and practitioners
• Write reports, publications and engage in novel ways to communicate research
• Step out into the field and in our areas of intervention

Apply if you have: 

• A Master’s degree, PG diploma or M-Tech in one of the following:Environmental science (not pollution experts)
  • Ecology
  • Forestry
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Rural Development with Natural Resource Management
  • Botany and Zoology with an ecology background
• The passion to work toward sustainable development through ecosystem regeneration and its management.
• The openness to learn while working with a trans-disciplinary team
• The willingness to learn and adopt new technologies in your outreach to communities and in related applied/action research
• The commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of rural communities 
• Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts in simple and direct language. 
• Knowledge of Hindi. Knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage
