**Job Description:**

WWF-India is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Donor Officer to spearhead the development and implementation of a new mid-major donor program.  This role is crucial in expanding WWF-India’s donor base and strengthening its position within this key segment.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Lead Acquisition:** Generate new leads through diverse channels including LinkedIn, digital marketing, events, and workshops. Collaborate with internal teams (Donor Relations, Digital Marketing, Tele-Facing), external agencies, and donor networks to gather data and insights for effective donor targeting.

* **Lead Conversion:** Develop and implement a comprehensive mid-major donor program strategy focused on acquisition, retention, and upgrading existing donors.  Convert potential leads into active donors through strategic planning and consistent effort.

* **Donor Relationship Management:** Manage external communication and cultivate strong relationships with donors across various channels. Maintain high-quality communication through regular monitoring and training. Develop outreach plans demonstrating appreciation, recognition, and donor engagement. Collaborate with internal teams on creative design, messaging, and data segmentation for targeted communication.

**Requirements:**

* 3-5 years of experience in Sales/Marketing/NGO/Fundraising/Journalism/Banking/Relationship Management.

* Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in writing and designing donor communications.

* Strong target orientation and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, high-performance environment.
