**Position Summary:**

 

Reporting to the Director, Careers and directly managing an Associate, Careers, the Lead, Careers for Alumni will be instrumental in identifying alumni needs, designing impactful learning experiences, forging new partnerships, and fostering the professional growth of leaders within the alumni network.  This role requires close collaboration with regional teams to ensure alignment with regional goals and drive outcomes for the regional roadmap.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Strategic thought partnership with the Director, Careers and Vertical Heads on strategy, annual goals, and new initiatives.

* Design and implementation of a support ecosystem for alumni career growth, tailored to different roles and career stages.

* Coaching and support for Fellowship Alumni in securing roles aligned with their interests and the needs of children.

* Collaboration with the Lead, Partnerships and Platform, Careers to identify and match alumni with suitable roles in the sector.

* Support for Senior Regional Partnerships Managers and Network Learning & Collaboration Managers in leveraging alumni databases to achieve talent goals.

* Development and cultivation of partnerships with organizations serving alumni career needs.

* Creation of engaging campaigns, podcasts, newsletters, reports, and microsites to showcase initiatives and impact.

* People management responsibilities including talent pipeline development, coaching, driving team engagement, growth, and retention, and overseeing a monitoring and evaluation system.

* Contribution to broader team goals and priorities, acting as an internal advocate for Teach For India’s programs and educational equity.

* Support for organizational areas such as recruitment, selection, fundraising, volunteering, and movement building.

 

 

**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:**

 

* 4-6 years of full-time professional experience in employability or the development/education sector.

* Experience managing and coaching small, high-performing teams to achieve ambitious outcomes.

* End-to-end project management experience.

* Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence others without direct authority.

* Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience designing meaningful learning experiences and resources for adults, demonstrating strong design thinking capabilities and understanding diverse individual needs.
