SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and implementing clean energy solutions to alleviate poverty in underserved communities across India.  The organization collaborates with various stakeholders, including social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions, to connect sustainable energy with poverty eradication.  Their work spans energy access, health, livelihoods, and enterprise development.

Apurva.ai is a non-profit organization focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to amplify collective wisdom within ecosystems to solve complex social problems.  They provide a digital infrastructure that empowers social change leaders to address societal challenges more effectively and at scale.

**About the Centre for Collective Wisdom:**

The Centre for Collective Wisdom, a joint initiative of SELCO Foundation and Apurva.ai, aims to build a knowledge infrastructure for the development sector, focusing on agriculture, rural development, entrepreneurship, and community development.  The Centre will curate and disseminate knowledge, fostering partnerships and building relevant use cases to benefit the sector.

**Job Summary:**

The Lead will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and management of the Centre for Collective Wisdom. This includes building partnerships, managing stakeholders, developing and implementing programs, capturing and disseminating insights, and building a high-performing team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Partnerships & Collaboration:** Identify and cultivate partnerships with social organizations, government agencies, influencers, and funding partners, prioritizing those in agriculture, rural development, and community development.

* **Stakeholder Management:** Manage internal and external stakeholders involved in the Centre’s development and operations.

* **Strategic Leadership:** Conceptualize and establish the Centre’s strategy, value proposition, and operational processes, ensuring scalability.  Connect problem statements in relevant fields with Apurva.ai technology use cases.

* **Program Development & Management:** Develop and manage multiple programs to achieve the Centre’s objectives.

* **Insights & Learnings:** Design systems for capturing and sharing insights and learnings across programs and stakeholders.

* **Knowledge Dissemination:** Develop strategies for sharing knowledge with the wider ecosystem.

* **Team Building & Support:** Build and manage a dedicated team to support the Centre’s growth and objectives.

**Qualifications:**

* 12-15 years of work experience in a leadership role within the development sector, preferably focusing on agriculture, rural, and community development.

* Deep understanding of problem-solving contexts and agile approaches within the relevant thematic areas.

* Proven ability to develop ideas from inception, strategic thinking, and leading multiple programs and teams.

* Excellent skills in fostering long-term partnerships and managing diverse stakeholders.

* Self-driven, creative, energetic, and results-oriented.

* Keen interest in early-stage platform development.

* Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment.

* Master’s degree (or higher) in Agriculture, Rural Development, or Community Development preferred; equivalent expertise is also relevant.

* Experience exploring tech product use cases for stakeholders in agriculture and rural development is desirable.
