The Opportunity
Our mission of ending poverty in our lifetime involves working with stakeholders across the impact ecosystem on a variety of projects including advisory, research and assessments. The Marketing team plays a key role in this by building Sattva’s brand in the larger impact ecosystem as a trusted advisory for both marquee and niche clients.
Given the knowledge-driven nature of our work, content marketing is one of the most important focus areas in our marketing and growth strategy.
Who we are looking for
The Lead—Content Marketing will own the content strategy, content production and distribution through multiple channels. We are setting up a vibrant and creative production team of content strategists, writers, designers, editors and audio and video producers. The content marketing lead will oversee their work in terms of strategy, quality of production, timelines and budgets. The lead will also liaise with the digital marketing team, event team and the media engagement lead to ensure effective distribution of content through the right channels.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate content specialist with a good understanding of formats and channels of content marketing. A creative thinker and a resourceful producer, they should be able to drive SEO, social media marketing and manage websites.
Role and key accountabilities:
Responsible for content quality, relevance and effective distribution.
Content Strategy :
- Formulate key messages to highlight, and plan content strategy working with Sattva leadership and Business Units
- Set guidelines for quality and consistency across content formats and channels
- Monitor all content output and be responsible for distribution
Collaboration with Business Units internally :
- Understand each business, their target customer, priorities
- Plan content calendar across channels and formats
- Advise Business Units on their content
Content Production and distribution :
- Oversee operations of content studio
- Be the checker/editor for all content before it is published
- Plan and monitor effective distribution of content across channels and audiences
The right person for the role would be someone with –
- 8-12 years of experience, including at least 5 years of B2B content marketing experience and with some exposure to the impact ecosystem and the key players
- Prior experience of working in a fast-paced organization and building a content marketing function for scale will be a plus
- Creative thinker and resourceful producer capable of visualising and planning production of relevant, good quality content in multiple formats
- Understanding of SEO, social media marketing and website management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and with simplicity
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal clients towards a common outcome
