Role and Responsibilities
1.Own and manage research, content and tool development, and assessments w.r.t foundational numeracy
a.Plan, ideate, and execute research to build internal capacity and knowledge on foundational numeracy content and assessments
b.Build a solid understanding of Ei’s existing FLN products and assessment tools
c.Create/facilitate high quality foundational numeracy content and assessment tools for Ei projects
d.Lead and manage trainings (internal and external) on the foundational numeracy assessment tools
e.Ensure timeline management, team management for all the project needs w.r.t all stakeholders
f.Work with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate, educate and coordinate the project needs of FLN assessment, execution, and analysis
g.Build and manage client relationships to support complete implementation of FLN projects
h.Understand analysis and reporting needs for FLN projects, and ensure analyses for the given project and write reports, with a specific focus on foundational numeracy
i.Support/perform data analysis to measure student performance on FLN and unearth learning trends
j.Maintain appropriate documentation for the project
k.Travel to the field to evaluate implementation of FLN products and assessments with clients and to understand clients’ work better
2.Support
a.Assist in the design, implementation, administration, evaluation, and revision of foundational numeracy content and assessments for projects managed by others
b.Support in team’s growth and learning needs
3.Organizational Development
a.Expand the scope of projects by high quality dissemination- working papers, publications, etc.
b.Do continuous product-level analysis to identify strengths and areas of improvement needed for large scale FLN assessments
c.Travel for the project needs and document trip reports of the same appropriately
Skillset
Must have
1.A strong understanding of education, instruction, and assessments, with a specific focus on foundational numeracy
2.Interest in and understanding of India’s education landscape
3.Effective verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management skill
4.The ability to learn fast, and grasp Educational Initiatives’ model and business.
5.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate technical details with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
6.The ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently as a self-starter.
7.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Education
Graduate/postgraduate with Mathematics as one of the major subjects
Experience
- Candidates with 3-5 years of education management, project management or program management experience with relevant experience on FLN projects/ programs
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
- Basic data analysis skills, and basic understanding of statistics
