Role: LEAD FACILITATOR (ASSOCIATE MANAGER) – NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS 

Reporting Manager: MANAGER – NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS 

Salary per Annum: INR 8 lakhs – 8.75 lakhs (BASED ON EXPERIENCE) 

Location: DELHI 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

The primary responsibility includes – Support the National Partnerships function to build urgency and criticality on the importance of life skills in the ecosystem. Through demonstrating our work and leading the advocacy efforts of the organization, build a movement to equip millions of young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and thrive in the 21st century.

As a lead facilitator, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of communication, and promoting effective collaboration. 

Facilitate National Collaboration: 

  • Develop and implement organisational strategy and plans within the focus area of National Partnerships. 
  • Contextualisation of DaD philosophy, adversity, thriving, life skills and experiential learning in National Partnerships based on the needs of the different government agencies that we are engaged with.  
  • Help in developing and managing relationships with key senior government officials, influencers, and policy makers at the National level. 
  • Support the team to build and maintain relationships with elected officials and their staff in key central agencies, including in-person meetings, support in signing MoUs, updating database information, appointment scheduling, written correspondence, etc.
  • Provide support to the internal teams in research and M&E work as well as to build an ecosystem premised on thriving.
  • Collect and maintain up-to-date data on key policy and advocacy issues related to education, child and youth development, Life Skills.  

Facilitation, Design and Training 

Facilitation 

  • Facilitate and deliver workshops and sessions for relevant stakeholders through online and offline platforms. 
  • Apply Dream a Dream’s approach and philosophy while delivering session.  
  • Should be able to create an environment where everyone can participate and contribute equally, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, religion, language, or any other identity. 
  • Participate in learning and debrief sessions, to enhance the quality of delivery of the Dream A Dream’s workshops.
  • Understand impact assessment of the workshops and improve the quality of training.   

Design 

  • Create designs for the workshops and sessions on social-emotional learning/Life Skills 
  • Develop content for the training courses and workshops on social-emotional learning/Life Skills. 
  • Coordinate with the internal teams to create different types of SEL and life-skills based content. 
  • Converse, make sense and contextualise content of the workshop based on the group. 
  • Develop curriculums for young people to meet the needs of the context. 

Training 

  • Train other facilitators / stakeholders on the Principles / Practices / Processes of facilitation with a minimum of 10-day TOT workshop. 
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring on principles of facilitations.  

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to achievement of strategic goals set by the organization. 
  • Participate in strategic planning, annual planning and budgeting process for the organisation. 
  • Develop strategies to keep team members engaged in outreach efforts. 
  • Working with a small team, you would also be required to multitask between roles, as and when required by the organisation for the furtherance of its goals. 
  • Any other work assigned by reporting manager. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Sustained passion and commitment to bring a positive change in the society.  
  • Full of positivity and optimism and doesn’t get bogged down by challenges.  
  • Deep sense of empathy and compassion for the people.  
  • Logical and rational thinking supported by strong analytical skills.  
  • Strong desire for excellence and consistent drive to improve and learn.  
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English.  
  • Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, ability to analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data, craft possible solutions and recommend actions.  

EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least 6 years of experience in the Development/Education/Governance sector.  
  • At least 4 years of experience as a life skills facilitator having conducted workshops with teachers, principals, and government officials. 

SKILLS:  

Working in a PMU set up in a government office.
