**Job Description**
**Position:** Lead – Finance, Landscape Restoration
**Location:** New Delhi, India

As part of the global World Resources Institute network, WRI India works with governments, businesses, and civil society to build transformative solutions for a sustainable future. With over 250 researchers across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, WRI India drives initiatives in food, land, and water systems to enhance resilience and equity.
**Experience Required:**
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning and project leadership within finance and natural resource management/restoration sectors.
– Proven track record in leading teams to design market-oriented solutions and financial instruments.
– Understanding of ESG, green finance, and landscape restoration in India.
– Proficiency in financial modeling and communication skills.
– Fluency in English; knowledge of an additional Indian language is advantageous.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Lead the execution of restoration finance projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance with funding requirements.
2. Develop sustainable financial models and investment strategies for restoration initiatives.
3. Manage a team, fostering innovation and collaboration, and support capacity-building through workshops and training.
4. Engage in fundraising, donor relations, and external partnerships to advance the program’s goals.
5. Conduct research and author knowledge products related to finance and restoration.
**Salary:** 25,00,000 to 34,00,000 INR per annum (CTC).
This position is for a duration of two years with potential extension based on performance. The start date is as soon as possible.
