Position: Lead – Learning and Development

The opportunity

We are looking for a Learning and Development Lead to join our team. As part of the People & Culture function at Sattva, you will enable Sattva’s impact-driven work through strategic employee development and learning initiatives. You will be instrumental in helping our teams build their capability as we work towards our mission of ending poverty in our lifetime.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the business teams to identify and solve for internal capability needs based on the business strategy
  • Enable a culture of self-driven learning at Sattva by partnering with our people managers and setting up strong internal systems and processes that enable such a culture 
  • Own leadership development initiatives in the organization
  • Work with the L&D team and external facilitators to provide internal and external learning opportunities aligned to organizational and individual learning needs 
  • Use internal learning data and analytics to review the effectiveness of L&D initiatives and make modifications as required 
  • Manage the L&D budget for the year and invest the budget strategically to achieve the most impact

Who we are looking for

At Sattva, our goal is realizing the impact on the ground and to drive a collective win by engaging with multiple stakeholders. We are looking for individuals who align with our mission of alleviating poverty in our lifetime and have the following profile:

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of work experience in Learning & Development, including experience in leadership development
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory; Master’s is a plus (particularly an MBA in Human Resources)
  • Significant experience and current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Demonstrated curiosity to learn more and strong attention to detail
  • Strong data orientation, stakeholder engagement and people management skills
  • Prior experience in consulting environments or start-up organizations is a plus
