We work across South, East, and Northeast India, collaborating with other developmental sector practitioners to link sustainable energy with poverty eradication. **Experience Required:**

 

* Minimum 10 years of work experience in supporting monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

* Implementation experience is an added advantage. 

 

**About the Role:**

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) portfolio. This role will be instrumental in driving impactful and innovative programs focused on climate action and poverty alleviation. Using sustainable energy as a catalyst, Selco works collaboratively to improve access to health and livelihoods. 

 

As the MEL lead, you will:

 

* **Anchor and manage the MEL portfolio end-to-end.**

* **Build a sectoral understanding** to strategize on engaging and documenting projects within the broader system of Selco’s interventions. 

* **Lead critical studies and learning exercises** to communicate key practices, approaches, and program strategies aligned with our Theory of Change.

* **Stay abreast of trends and narratives emerging in the health sector** and plan the team’s activities accordingly.

* **Lead and coordinate primary and secondary research, data analysis,** aligned with the team’s agenda and focus areas. 

* **Plan for regular opportunities to identify lessons learned** and implications for future program development.

* **Ensure seamless coordination across organizational functions** for ease of data monitoring and feedback loop creation.

 

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

 

* Experience in systems thinking, human-centered design, developmental evaluation, and other user-based study methodologies.

* Proven ability to integrate conceptual approaches and narratives with ground realities and develop study methodologies accordingly.

* Ability to process information and create compelling documentation cases for the health sector across Selco’s geographies.

* Capacity to grasp audience sensibility and calibrate communications to resonate with various health sector target audiences.

* Strong skills in managing multiple tasks effectively, prioritizing work, and exhibiting meticulous attention to detail. 

* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

* Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment.

* Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the state, including challenging terrains, as required.
