This role involves designing, supporting, and monitoring state-wide blood lead surveillance programs, collaborating with government health departments, and providing technical assistance to district-level officials.
**Qualifications:**
– **Education:** Master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health Science, Epidemiology, or a related field; MBBS preferred. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with experience may be considered.
– **Experience:** 6-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years at the state level. Experience in data management, government health systems, and conducting training sessions is required. Familiarity with statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS, Stata) is preferred.
**Skills & Abilities:**
– Knowledge of public health systems and disease surveillance.
– Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms.
– Professional proficiency in English, Hindi, and the state’s native language.
**Working Conditions:**
– Field-based role with potential travel.
– Willingness to work onsite at the State Health Department.
**Salary Range:** INR 19,77,500 to 24,90,000.
