**Job Description: Lead, State Partnerships, Government Alliances**

**Experience Required:** 15+ years total experience, with 10+ years in business development or partnerships and 5+ years working with government entities.

The/Nudge is an action institute dedicated to alleviating poverty by empowering women, farmers, tribals, and youth through initiatives in rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. Collaborating with over 15 central and state government partners, they’ve impacted 25 million Indians across 10 states, securing $250M in government funding.
**Role Overview:**
The Lead, State Partnerships will drive strategic government alliances to scale livelihood opportunities for the poor. This involves representing The/Nudge’s programs, building relationships with state governments, developing tailored messaging, managing proposals, and aligning goals with the organization’s strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Represent The/Nudge’s work to government stakeholders.
– Identify, build, and manage networks within state governments.
– Develop targeted messaging for government stakeholders.
– Own collaterals and proposals for government stakeholders.
– Set annual goals aligned with overall strategy.
– Balance short-term results with long-term objectives.
– Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders.
– Represent The/Nudge at ecosystem events.
