**About iTeach Schools:**
iTeach Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education for students from low-income communities in India. We partner with Municipal Corporations to create high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program. Currently serving 4500 students and 3000 alumni across 12 schools in Pune and Navi Mumbai, with a staff of 300, iTeach aims to expand to 30 schools and 10,000 students in the next five years. Our mission is to create a level playing field for all children, providing them with the opportunity to succeed in college, their careers, and as citizens.
**Job Summary:**
The Lead Teacher at iTeach Schools plays a crucial role in co-leading a school alongside the Principal. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine exceptional teaching with teacher coaching and project management. The ideal candidate is a committed educator passionate about fostering excellence in the classroom and mentoring other teachers.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Teaching (25%):** Teach one subject to one grade, setting a high standard of pedagogy for the school and network. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans, employing advanced pedagogical approaches and data analysis to inform broader school practices.
* **Coaching & Teacher Management (50%):** Lead and mentor a team of four to five teachers, providing performance management, coaching, and career guidance. Collaborate with teachers to set ambitious goals, develop individual growth plans, and achieve life-changing outcomes for students (approximately two hours of coaching per teacher per week). Contribute to the overall school culture and strategy with the Principal.
* **Project Management (25%):** Design and execute school projects focused on student holistic development, parent and community involvement, and innovative school practices. Measure outcomes, refine project implementation, and document processes for replication in other schools.
**Education & Experience Requirements:**
* Minimum 2-3 years of exceptional teaching experience.
* Minimum 3+ years of overall work experience.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute significantly to school activities beyond the classroom.
* Proven ability to lead a team and achieve strong results.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in coaching and teacher development.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The salary range for this position is 6.5 – 7.5 LPA CTC (Cost To Company). Benefits include PF (Provident Fund), gratuity, medical insurance (up to 3 lakh per annum), paid leaves, annual increments, and promotion opportunities.
