Roles and Responsibilities:

Scope of Work :

System Integration: 

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with, state, district government officials to promote EWS program and obtain necessary support.
  • Monitor and stay updated on government policies, regulations, and procedures related to elementary education and dropout prevention.
  • Collaborate with state officials and UNICEF team to integrate “Early Warning System” as part of govt. The plan is to identify and  prevent school dropouts.
  • Represent organization at government meetings, conferences, and events to build relationships and increase awareness of the EWS program.
  • Provide regular reports to the leadership team on government policies and regulations that may impact our program, and recommend strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Support govt. officials in establishing smooth, doable processes to embed tools of identifying at-risk children and further develop strategy to ensure that child is staying, engaging and learning at school.
  • Support govt. officials to create tracking and response strategy so as to sustain the program at-scale with active participation of stakeholders specially teachers and community. 

Training & Capacity Building- 

  • Co-Design, anchor and Implement cascade mode of training with SRG, ARP, HM & teacher.
  • Work with the master trainer group at state/district level and hand hold them for knowledge transfer.
  • Synthesize insights from training into meaningful and actionable steps. Bring in field insights into the capacity building design and review.
  • Guide training team to compile training reports received from training and field implementation team and share concise and compelling documents.
  • Build capacity of the Training officers/District Officers for effective delivery of the training program and make them understand the content/ curriculum.
  • Participate in state level training programs, workshops, meetings and work with the state body to ensure that it’s integrated into a larger plan.

Program Facilitation: 

  • Facilitate workshop at district and state level for Government Engagement .
  • Co-design workshops and webinars that are reflective and help various stakeholders to move towards being change agents in the government education system.
  • Co Design workshop and curate resource materials for the stakeholder
  • Conduct  field visits to field locations to capture insights from stakeholders.

Content Development- 

  • Document secondary information, policies, program and relevant best practices.
  • Develop and customize relevant content & support in the conceptualization of framework development including content, design, toolkit,  and process for the program.
  • Develop and customize relevant content for EWS based on field insights
  • Support in the conceptualization and support the framework development including content, design and process for the programme
  • Support in creating content for toolkit, digital (whatsapp, voice messages) and non-digital follow up triggers for the different stakeholders

Monitoring and Reporting- 

  • Support M&E specialist in the development of Tools and Process for  program monitoring 
  • Track progress against the work plan.
  • Support with the Monitoring and Evaluation processes towards achieving the program outputs and outcomes.
  • Support the compilation of the Monthly. Quarterly, Half-yearly and annual reports. 

Team management: 

  • Lead the team of Training/District Officers and Support them in implementing the activities.
  • Participating in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities.
  • Seeking regular capacity building support from the team. 
  • Adhering to all the finance and HR policies of the organization.   
  • Upholding the values of Quest Alliance.

Deliverables:

  • Conduct and Document Training Need Analysis
  • Conduct and Document All Stakeholder Capacity Development Activities including team (District, Block and Schools)
  • Develop and Revise EWS framework, content, manual, tools and processes based on field insights
  • Develop and Implement Training related M&E framework, Design and Tools
  • Guide, Mentor and Review the District Team
  • Share all reports and data as per the schedule
