Age: Not more than 35+ years

Vehicle: Two-wheeler is mandatory

Position Description:  

The individual in this role shall develop and drive DBF’s program at the location.

Responsibilities & Duties  

1. Support the Regional Head in the development of a business plan for the foundation’s  Initiatives in the region.

2. Review day-to-day activities as per plan in the villages (e.g. formation / holding  monthly meetings of SHGs, organizing field-level camps etc.)

3. Review of field-level information/data related to programs.

4. Represent the Foundation in front of external stakeholders like Govt. officers,  development agencies etc.

5. Support the Unit, Regional and HO teams in the formulation of policies, reports & other compliance. Execute the branding and visibility plan

6. Facilitate conducting various need-based surveys and studies.

7. Develop good relations with the local community i.e., Village Pradhans, and other key stakeholders, to seek their support in the implementation of programs. 8. Submit monthly progress reports to the Regional Head.

9. Conceptualize ideas/programs and share them with the senior team for project formulation. 10. Any other work as and when assigned by the Regional Head.

Desired Candidate-Profile: 

• Post-graduate in Social Work / Rural Development/ Sociology/ Development Studies with  8 years to 10 years experience in the rural development sector working with NGOs, Corporate  Foundations or similar organisations.
• Good communication skills in local language and English
• Proactive in developing relationships with the community/stakeholders
• Computer Skills, especially in making PowerPoint Presentations, creating Data-sheets in Excel
• Should have preferably worked in a work location
• Willing to travel across locations and other States as and when required
• Should be good in Analytical skills to evaluate and execute projects
