About the 10to19: Dasra Adolescents Collaborative 

10to19: Dasra Adolescents Collaborative is a high-impact, outcome-driven, multi-stakeholder platform that seeks to move the needle on the field of adolescent health and well-being in India. The Collaborative works to address the scale and breadth of issues facing adolescents by bringing together civil society organizations, experts, funders, and the government to ensure that adolescents are safe, healthy, educated, and empowered to make positive life choices as they transition into adulthood.

About the Role: Managers at Dasra will be responsible for performing complex assignments and fulfill broad responsibilities where required outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on professional judgment /precedent planning. Managers should be able to independently handle one or more projects / work stream/ sub-functional area from end to end. A manager should demonstrate strong written, project management, research and fundraising skills. They will also drive impactful decision-making and nurture talent within the organization. 

Duration: Full time Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under minimal supervision performs complex assignments and fulfills broad responsibilities where required outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on professional judgment /precedent.
  • Translate insights into team level learnings and efficiencies
  • Independently handles one or more projects / work stream/ sub-functional area from end to end.
  • In a supervisory role, the individual usually handles work assignments, responsible for quality, motivation, training and problem solving.
  • Contribute to team- and organization-level management activities such as staffing, reporting, internal taskforces
  • Build and manage relationships with non-profits and knowledge partners

Skill-Set Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Indian and/or international development sector with a focus on research, consulting, writing, knowledge management and multi-stakeholder engagement.
  • Written & Communication skills: Independently connects complex ideas to foresight and demonstrates strong story-telling ability in written/verbal presentation style.
  • Project Management: Independently defines project scope and work-plan and manages project obligations with the team as well as client and other relevant stakeholders while establishing a strong link between people, ideas and information throughout the project, and engaging other team members (up, down, across) at relevant points
  • Research & Data Analytics:  Shapes the strategic direction of the project/work stream by leveraging several internal and external insights and data results 
  • Fundraising: Proactively identifies and pursues new funder leads and begins to shape opportunities for Dasra
  • Relationship Management: Proactively works to identify and develop new relationships and independently deepens existing relationships over time, while shaping creative opportunities for them to strategically influence change within the sector
  • Strong commitment and ability to develop a team and nurture talent to deliver excellent results
    Entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness and ability to build systems and processes, work independently, bring structure, as well as think and act creatively in a resource-constrained environment.
