**Position Summary:**
The Manager, Assessment Centres, reports to the Director, Fellowship Selection and directly manages an Associate, Operations and an Associate, Communications and Training. This role is crucial in ensuring the selection of high-quality candidates for Teach For India’s Fellowship program. The position involves designing and implementing innovative training programs for selectors, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. The role also includes conducting research and analysis to improve the selection model, reviewing applications, and providing a positive applicant experience. Furthermore, this role encompasses people management responsibilities, including talent development, team coaching, and performance monitoring. The Manager will also contribute to broader organizational goals across various departments.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Training Program Development & Management:** Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs for 100+ selectors using innovative technologies and methodologies.
* **Project Management:** Plan and execute complex projects with multiple moving parts and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
* **Data Analysis & Monitoring:** Track progress towards goals through data analysis and utilize findings to improve the selection process.
* **Applicant Experience:** Collaborate with the team to create a consistent and positive applicant experience.
* **Research & Analysis:** Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand training needs and improve the Fellowship Selection model.
* **Selection Process Participation:** Review applications, conduct interviews, and participate in the selection process at Assessment Centres.
* **People Management:** Build a strong team, provide coaching and mentorship, and drive team engagement and retention.
* **Organizational Contribution:** Contribute to broader organizational goals in areas such as recruitment, fundraising, and movement building.
* **Brand Ambassadorship:** Serve as a brand ambassador for Teach For India, advocating for educational equity.
**Qualifications:**
* **Minimum Qualifications:** Graduate degree with 3+ years of experience, including at least 1 year in a direct management role (exceptional candidates without direct management experience may be considered). Experience in designing and facilitating training, adult learning, or teaching is required. Proven end-to-end project management experience is essential. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English are necessary. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are also required.
* **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in a similar role within a non-profit organization is preferred.
