**Job Purpose:**
THF seeks a skilled and experienced Manager-Audit & Internal Controls to oversee statutory and internal audit functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. The role involves auditing partner organizations, reviewing utilization certificates, coordinating audits, designing internal control frameworks, managing risks, and supporting donor-funded projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Partner Organization Reviews:** Conduct site visits, assess compliance, prepare detailed reports, and maintain a partner database.
2. **Utilization Certificates (UCs):** Review UCs for compliance, facilitate processing, and assist in disbursement schedules.
3. **Audit Coordination:** Liaise with auditors, ensure audit requirements are met, and manage audit findings closure.
4. **Internal Audits:** Conduct audits of organizational systems, prepare reports, and monitor implementation.
5. **Internal Controls:** Design, implement, and assess internal control frameworks; address deficiencies and improve compliance.
6. **Risk Management & Compliance:** Monitor regulatory changes, mitigate risks, and provide guidance on compliance.
7. **Donor-Funded Projects:** Provide support during donor audits and ensure project documentation.
8. **Secretarial Compliances:** Collaborate with legal teams to ensure organizational compliance.

**Qualifications:**
– Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary (mandatory) with a master’s degree in finance, business, or management (preferred).
– 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in audit, preferably in international NGOs.
– Strong analytical and communication skills; willingness to travel PAN India.

**Other Requirements:**
– Proven track record in dealing with auditors in complex environments.
– Experience working with similar organizations is preferred.
