The Bhumi Club Manager will be responsible for managing, coaching and developing the team of identified student leaders at colleges who will in turn drive social initiatives and projects at their respective colleges. The manager will have overall strategic and operational responsibilities for the programme including expansion of the program, increasing the engagement of volunteers at the established clubs by providing projects and volunteering opportunities, partnership with NGOs and other social clubs to enhance the student’s engagement and scaling the program. The manager will be responsible for scaling the programme 10x over the next 2-3 years.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Promoting a strong culture of volunteerism and civic responsibility among colleges and college students in India
Recruiting and grooming passionate volunteer leadership across colleges towards promoting volunteering
Consistent evaluation of the program and its framework to ensure sustainable, accelerated movement towards the vision of Making Volunteering a National Habit among college students.
Collaboration with existing student-based volunteer programs and clubs to scale and deepen impact
Collaboration with NGOs to ensure students are provided with diverse, meaningful opportunities to volunteer Provide support to the clubs’ student leaders to envision the goals for their projects/initiatives and provide required guidance to meet the same

Requirements

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

Minimum three years’ experience in volunteer management is mandatory
Prior volunteering experience is mandatory
Prior experience in the non-profit sector would be an advantage
Any Graduate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong leadership development and team building capabilities
Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
Good influencing skills, people engagement, networking and listening skills
Good written and verbal communication skills– English, Hindi and Tamil.
Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Willingness to travel – locally and nationally

Other Information:

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Catalyse

Designation: Asst. Manager to Manager based on candidate’s profile

Expected Age: Below 32

Scope: Full time, Willing to work flexible hours

Remuneration: Rs. 6,00,000 – Rs. 7,00,000 per annum

Expected Joining Date: Immediate

Minimum commitment: Two Years
