Give Grants at Give :

Over the last 20 years, Give has partnered with hundreds of companies – from large ones like ICICI, HDFC, TCS, Google, Microsoft, Amex, KPMG, Coca-Cola to new age start-ups like Flipkart, Ola, Myntra and others – to shape the employee giving narrative across India. When COVID hit India, we launched the India COVID Response Fund (ICRF) and partnered with various institutions globally to deploy over 800 Crores of Give Grants (CSR, Foundation Grants & Employee Giving). Building upon this work, Give launched its Give Grants platform in late 2021 with the objective to make Institutional Giving bigger and better.

We believe that India needs Give Grants at significant scale, and with far better impact outcomes to solve for India’s SDG challenges and investment gap. Based on our experience of Covid Relief, where we rapidly created opportunities and solutions for mobilizing and effectively deploying hundreds of crores, we believe we can be an end to end giving partner for institutions spanning strategy, design, deployment, compliance and impact assurance.

We also believe that there are significant opportunities to not just drive more effective usage of funds earmarked for the social impact sector, but also to bring in additional funds by creating leverage opportunities. We do this already through our collective (multi donor) programs; crowdfunding, workplace giving and fundraiser models and each of these can be scaled further.

Our go to market strategy for Give Grants has three components in the near term :

– sharp focus on CSR giving in India – build deep relationships with CSR decision makers and provide services for grant management, program management, impact reporting and CSR advisory. A 15 member India based team is executing this strategy.

– grow workplace giving and UHNI giving from the US to India – we recently entered into a strategic partnership with Indiaspora in the US, a 3 member US based team is setting up this vertical, using Give’s expertise and Indiaspora’s network.

– a comprehensive tech platform to enable better decision making for institutional giving – Give has a market leading SaaS platform for managing CSR giving that serves 75+ organizations. This platform, combined with our services, has enabled us to become an end to end partner for give grants .

Role: Engagement Manager, Business Engagement

At Give | Grants, we leverage our technology platform to support the CSR ecosystem to function in an efficient manner by improving transparency and accountability between the CSR donor companies and their NGO partners. Additionally, we support corporates throughout their CSR lifecycle with our services such as CSR Strategy, program design, partner sourcing, indicator mapping and on-ground tech backed monitoring and evaluation support.

This role is part of the Business Engagement team within Give | Grants which is responsible for delivery of timely and high-quality services to our clients.

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Delhi NCR

Responsibilities:

1. Account Management

• Ensure that the company is achieving profitability margins as defined by business imperatives.

• Ownership of contract renewal and invoice clearance for allocated portfolio of accounts

• Margin maintenance and resource management

• Identify expansion opportunities through upsell/ cross sell and develop a feedback loop mechanism for all internal teams to provide market (client and referral) insights back into the system

2. Lead Program Delivery

• Client engagement and NPS ownership for allocated portfolio

• Program management, planning, scoping and delivery ownership

• Scope adherence and timely delivery of services/ product deliverables

3. Provide Strategic Consulting

• Provide CSR program design and strategic consulting and share data-based insights to the clients

• Help client to design / restructure programs in line with client’s intent and that delivers real, measurable, sustainable impact

• Understand the client’s vision and co-develop the roadmap for adhering to the client’s Impact / goals and projects

• Co-ordination with NGO stakeholders/ client stakeholders (external) for timely delivery of services / deliverables

• Ensure quality of business engagement by regular client cadence and supervising governance and leading internal project and knowledge management

• Ensure client receives adequate visibility and coverage through Give and other associated events

• Drive collaboration via internal project and knowledge management

4. Market insights and feedback loop

• Develop a feedback loop mechanism for all internal teams to provide market (client and referral) insights back into the system

5. Team Management

• Identify training needs for the team and reportees

Requirements:

• A minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Account Management, Project management and consulting experience.

• Exposure to either of CSR or equivalent consulting experience.

• Possesses stakeholder management and client influencing, relationship building skills.

• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

• A bias toward action and ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.

• A passionate coach for your high performing team and empowers the team and leads with empathy and integrity.

• Excellent presentation, and communication skills.
