## Job Description: Manager, Corporate Fundraising

 

**About The/Nudge Institute**

 

The/Nudge Institute is a non-profit action institute dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty. We collaborate with women, farmers, tribals, and youth to drive impactful initiatives in rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. We partner with over 15 central and state government agencies to deliver effective solutions.

 

Our work has reached 10 states across India, impacting over 1.25 million people through a $250 million government funding allocation.  Our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenge programs have supported over 200 social entrepreneurs, including 17 Forbes 30U30 honorees, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, and a Time Magazine cover recipient. 

 

The/Nudge receives critical support from over 100 eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates, and 15+ foundations, including the Gates Foundation, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC Bank, Mphasis, KPMG, and L’Oreal.  Our collective efforts contribute to the vision of a “poverty-free India, within our lifetime.”

 

**About the Team**

 

The Partnerships team at The/Nudge is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and nurturing relationships with a variety of donors, including corporates, foundations, and individuals.  

 

**Responsibilities**

 

* Conduct thorough research and identify potential donors (foundations globally and corporates in India) whose priorities align with The/Nudge’s work.

* Collaborate closely with program teams to develop compelling proposals and pitch decks that effectively communicate our work and impact.

* Conduct due diligence on potential donors and their teams.

* Track working capital deficits across The/Nudge’s impact streams and prepare donor-ready budgets.

* Create dashboards and analytics to continuously monitor the donor pipeline.

* Stay informed about best practices within the fundraising ecosystem.

 

**Qualifications**

 

* A strong desire to contribute to the social sector.

* 7-9 years of experience in supporting B2B sales, business development, or fundraising, preferably within an early-stage organization.

* A proven track record of exceeding expectations in similar roles.

* A strong research orientation, particularly in B2B sales and business development.

* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

* Exceptional communication (written and oral), presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office suite and Google Slides.
