About Smile Foundation:
Smile Foundation works for the welfare of children and their families through intensive programmes focused on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment. Started in 2002 by a group of young corporate professionals, today we have evolved into a national level development organization with project presence in 25 states across India, 10 offices in strategic locations and over 400 employees, besides countless volunteers, well wishers and supporters.
About the role
Raising funds for support to children from underprivileged backgrounds in the areas of education, health and vocational training.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Research and identify potential donors (Corporate, Corporate Foundations, PSUs etc.)
• Develop contact and network with Corporate entities where Smile’s work aligns with their CSR Policy
• Present and pitch for CSR grants and facilitate employee engagement activities
• Implement individual fundraising plan, quarterly action plans, achieve individual targets, and develop relationships with companies
• Responsible for regular and timely tracking and updating achievements.
• Work closely with other departments, particularly the programs and communications, to ensure Smile is represented and positioned appropriately
• Maintain a database of all donors, including, potential corporate donors.
• Identify strategic partnership opportunities to disseminate Smile resources
Qualifications
BBA/PGDBM in Marketing & Communications
Minimum Experience
1. Combination of corporate experience and social sector work preferred
2. Minimum 3-4 years of Corporate fund raising experience.
3. Experience in mid-management role that is also accountable for communications with an external group.
