Job Description

The Manager will be responsible for onboarding new Corporate partners & developing relationships that ensure Bhumi’s programmes get the required funding support. This person will work closely with Corporates ensure they are satisfied with Bhumi’s programme delivery, employee engagement & promote retention, loyalty. A strong sales/fundraising experience will give you an edge in performing well at this role.  

Primary responsibilities:

  • Innovate on sales strategy and lead generation channels for all projects of Bhumi.
  • Reach out to Corporates to raise funds for Bhumi’s programmes, get the mandate for executing employee volunteering events and CSR funds.
  • Manage and build Corporate & other institutional relationships, ensure engagement throughout the year
  • Closely monitor focus areas & requirements of corporates; come up with appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather programmatic needs and updates for leveraging the same for fundraising initiatives.
  • Proposal writing, to pitch and present programmatic needs of Bhumi to interest, engage and get commitments from CSR and Foundations.
  • Conduct market research, gather information, negotiate and finalise contracts

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, nurture team members on sales and inside sales best practices and help them achieve their goals
  • Own the delivery of proposals making, plan donor delight aspects for accounts managed- eg. Social media acknowledgement and promotions, planning employee engagement activities with the Corporate Volunteering team.
  • Liaison with Individual Giving team to set up employee giving campaigns in corporate houses to leverage virtual giving options for enthusiastic corporates.

Education Qualification / Experience:

  • Any graduate
  • Holding a Master’s in Business Administration will be an advantage
  • Between 5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales/fundraising/business development/partnerships in non-profits/ed-techs/start-ups/social enterprises.
  • Banking / sales / corporate fundraising experience would be an advantage

Reporting to: Director – Fundraising

Scope: Full time

Remuneration: CTC 7-11 Lakhs p.a. including performance incentives based on the candidate’s profile
