The Role Context:

The Data Integration specialist is a subject matter expert of data integration solutions and data architecture, responsible for the technical development of any new data integration solution to be plugged in to the overall data architecture.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with demonstrable skills in data integration solution. The candidate must perform well under pressure, have strong domain knowledge, have analytical skills, be highly detail-oriented and have experience of working on large data sets. Hands-on experience of migration of large database will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.
  • Propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments.
  • Include data migration planning and execution, provide a logical data model with elements and business rules needed for the creation of data quality rules.
  • Manage data analysis and data integration of disparate systems.
  • Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business.
  • Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.
  • Develop quality standards to ensure data quality and integrity across various database systems.

  • Building Data integration frameworks for Single Source of truth.
  • Data Quality and creation of Golden Data.
  • Data Security and Migration strategy and POC development

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience out of which at least four years in enterprise level data integration
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems.
  • Some experience with cloud data technology
  • Experience developing Data Warehousing solutions and Business Intelligence.
  • Experience of working in Government Sector will be an added advantage

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of data lifecycle and architecture best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of Data Protection Legislation.
