Position:               Manager – Documentation & Comms Support

Location:              Delhi / NCR

About the Organization: Grameen Foundation for Social Impact (GFSI) in collaboration with a leading investment banking firm is working on a multi-year project to support the growth of women-owned businesses by promoting their investment readiness and digital transformation. During this period 300 early-stage women-owned small businesses in the Delhi NCR region will be supported to formalize their businesses, build their business management capacities and facilitate access to debt financing mechanisms to promote expansion and growth of their businesses.

Essential Job Functions:

The main job duties would involve demonstrated ability to work with and guide staff on communications, documentation, and media production

  • Edit and contribute to drafting of manuals, evaluations, workshop reports, briefing papers, Annual Progress Reports, Annual Work Plans, A/V presentations, web pages, dashboards, and other documents;
  • Design, write, edit and distribute promotional and informational printed/ graphic materials for internal and external teams;
  • Develop and maintain systems to organize and facilitate access to documentation and informational materials, including internal and external technical publications, tools, and manuals;
  • Establish uniform standards, formats, and style guidance for JPM publications, materials, and presentations;
  • Implement communications, branding and documentation strategies for the JPM program;
    Contribute to building systems that improve the efficiency and internal management of the Program;
  • Coordinate with the project teams to deliver the assigned work as per the agreed timelines.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, development, international affairs, public relations, or related area. Master’s degree preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing and setting up public events, conferences, and campaigns highly desirable;
  • Outstanding English skills in writing and editing public information or promotional materials, annual reports, newsletters, project or grant proposals, and briefing papers. Writing samples required;
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with Adobe Suite, Photoshop and desktop publishing;
  • A prior relevant experience of 5-7 years in communications for international affairs, journalism, and/or international development. Bonus if experience in the domain of entrepreneurship, MSME, financial inclusion, and banking sector.

Reporting and relationships: The position will report to the Senior Programme Manager
