**Job Location:** New Delhi, India
**Purpose:** To ensure robust financial management and sustainability at CEEW by overseeing budgeting, compliance, donor fund utilization, and reporting; aligning financial strategies with organizational goals; maintaining transparency; and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
**Job Duties and Accountabilities:**
* Develop and manage organizational and project budgets.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, FCRA).
* Review grant and consultancy agreements and manage related compliance.
* Oversee financial reporting for donors, stakeholders, and management.
* Manage cash flow, fund utilization, and financial forecasting.
* Coordinate internal and external audits.
* Monitor and control expenses.
* Manage payroll processing and vendor payments.
* Provide financial insights through presentations (MIS, PowerPoint).
* Maintain robust financial systems, policies, and internal controls.
* Manage all types of audits (Statutory, FCRA, and Internal).
* Prepare financial statements and reports.
* Collaborate with program teams on funding alignment with project deliverables.
* Mitigate financial risks and recommend cost-saving measures.
* Help automate and migrate accounting and related processes.
* Ensure organizational policies are implemented and provide training.
* Oversee the use of financial software and ensure data security.
**Selection Criteria:**
**Educational Background:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (essential).
* Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
* Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) highly desirable.
**Experience:**
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.
* Proven track record of managing donor funds, project budgets, and financial reporting.
* Experience with FCRA, TDS, and GST compliance for Indian NPOs.
**Technical Skills:**
* Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
* Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis tools.
* Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and MIS reports.
* Knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and fund accounting.
**Soft Skills:**
* Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Flexibility in undertaking a variety of tasks.
