## Job Description: Manager, Fundraising

The/Nudge Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty in India. We partner with women, farmers, tribals, and youth, focusing on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. We work closely with over 15 central and state government partners to achieve our mission.
The/Nudge’s economic inclusion journey has reached 10 states, impacting over 1.25 million people through $250 million of government funding. **About the Team:**
The Partnerships Team at The/Nudge is responsible for attracting, nurturing, and growing support from various donor segments, including corporates, foundations, and individuals.
**Job Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Experience Required:** 7-9 years of work experience in supporting B2B sales, business development, or fundraising, preferably in an early-stage organization.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct research and identify prospective donors (foundations globally and corporates in India) whose priorities align with The/Nudge’s work.
* Collaborate with program teams to create compelling proposals and pitch decks that effectively communicate our work and impact.
* Perform due diligence on prospective donors and their teams.
* Track working capital deficits across The/Nudge’s three impact streams and prepare donor-ready budgets.
* Develop dashboards and analytics to monitor the donor pipeline.
* Stay informed about best practices in the fundraising ecosystem.
**Qualifications:**
* Strong desire to contribute to the social sector.
* Proven track record of exceeding expectations in a similar role.
* Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong research orientation, particularly in B2B sales and business development.
* Excellent time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication (written and oral), presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in MS Office suite and Google Slides.
