## Job Description – Manager, Government Relations – Delhi

**About The Position:**

 

Teach For India is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a **Manager, Government Relations** in **Delhi**. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering an ecosystem of support and collaboration with key stakeholders across the local government, NGOs, CSOs, and our Alumni. 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and execute long-term strategies for impactful partnerships with the government, aligning with Teach For India’s national strategy and regional vision.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government, NGOs, and community leaders to influence policy and create enabling conditions for educational equity.

* Lead the creation of opportunities for systemic impact in the region, such as internship/career opportunities in the government for Fellows and Alumni.

* Design, promote, and execute projects for collective action between key stakeholders in the education landscape.

* Support planning and organizing city events, such as summits and retreats.

* Lead and support the City Child Protection Committee to ensure student safety and well-being.

 

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience:**

 

* 3+ years of work experience managing teams and projects to excellent outcomes at scale.

* Strong sense of possibility and belief in the potential of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

* Strong BRIO (Building Relationships and Influencing Others) and stakeholder management skills.

* Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

* Strong end-to-end project management skills with exceptional documentation abilities.

* Ability to adapt to change and thrive in unstructured environments.

* Ability to manage self, team, and time effectively amidst multiple priorities.

 

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience:**

 

* Familiarity and/or experience working with government systems.
