**Job Location:** Delhi/NCR
**Job Summary:**
The Manager Grants/Senior Manager Grants is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and donor requirements. This role requires strong accounting and finance knowledge, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the finance function and monitor project grants teams’ work.
* Monitor project budgets and develop financial reports (quarterly and monthly).
* Analyze project performance against budgets, forecasts, and donor constraints.
* Implement a system for sharing financial information, highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial recording in accordance with system requirements.
* Review and update project budgets in the ERP system, reflecting funder approvals and revisions.
* Support the preparation of budgets for new proposals.
* Monitor timely submission of financial reports and invoices to funders.
* Liaise with project employees, vendors, and external agencies (auditors, funding agencies).
* Monitor receivables and prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
* Ensure timely production of statutory and internal financial reports and legal compliance.
* Manage audits (internal, external, grants, tax).
* Prepare and submit tax-related certificates and returns (Income Tax, GST, Service Tax, FCRA).
* Coordinate with other departments.
* Write financial reports and updates.
* Travel as required.
**Qualifications:**
* **Essential:** Master’s degree in Commerce/MBA in Finance or equivalent.
* **Essential:** 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance.
* **Desirable:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Hindi and English). Willingness to travel. Excellent organizational abilities.
**Duration:** 1 year (extendable based on performance/requirement)
