**Job Description**

Tata Steel Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as ‘Manager – Infrastructure’. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various infrastructure projects within the Foundation’s Infrastructure vertical.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Project Management:** Independently manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

* **Planning and Design:** Prepare plans, estimates, drawings, and designs for civil projects, ensuring proper implementation aligned with organizational goals.

* **Stakeholder Engagement:**  Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and community representatives, to facilitate seamless project execution and obtain necessary approvals.

* **Resource Allocation:**  Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, equipment) for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

* **Reporting, Budgeting, and Cost Control:** Prepare regular technical and progress reports and documentation. Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

* **Compliance, Safety, and Sustainability:** Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, emphasizing safety norms, sustainability, and environmental best practices.

* **Community Connect:** Understand community needs and implement Infrastructure vertical activities accordingly by co-creating feasible solutions and promoting technology and innovation.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution (preference for candidates from Government-aided institutions).

* Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, ideally within the development sector or corporate social responsibility sector.

* Minimum 3+ years of work experience.

* Expertise in coordinating with diverse stakeholders and managing complex infrastructure projects.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi & Odia).
