**Position Summary:**

 

The Manager, Kids Education Revolution (KER), reports to the Director, KER, and manages an Associate. KER, part of Teach For India’s Innovation Cell, reimagines education with children, aiming to scale principles that challenge traditional systems.  The role involves managing and executing musicals and productions that amplify student voices and agency, building on past successful projects.  The position requires both project management expertise and people management skills to achieve ambitious goals.

 

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* **Project Management:** End-to-end management and execution of musicals and productions, including curriculum design integrating academics, values, and performing arts. Collaboration with artists, volunteers, and designers to ensure timely completion and high quality.

* **Program Development:** Design and implement curricula that integrate academics, values, and performing arts for students from under-resourced schools.

* **Stakeholder Engagement:**  Work with diverse stakeholders to advocate for student voice and agency.

* **Monitoring & Evaluation:**  Assess project effectiveness and impact through monitoring, evaluation, and documentation.

* **People Management:** Build a strong talent pipeline, manage and coach team members, drive engagement and retention, and oversee a monitoring and evaluation system for continuous improvement.

* **Organizational Contributions:** Contribute to broader Teach For India goals, serve as a brand ambassador, and support areas like recruitment, fundraising, and volunteer management.

 

 

**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:**

 

* 2-4 years of professional experience in teaching/education/performing arts in education.

* Experience managing operations in high-pressure, goal-oriented environments.

* Experience planning and executing complex projects with multiple priorities.

* Strong planning, content creation, and facilitation skills.

* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

* Strong people and partnership management skills.

* Demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve ambitious goals despite challenges.

* Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills.

* Orientation towards innovation and scale.

* Previous experience in performing arts/managing productions.
