Role and Responsibilities

• Overseeing the content development for Mindspark Language & Mathematics
• Coordinating with other managers within and across teams on various tasks/projects to ensure smooth delivery of content
• Driving content-based innovation like tests in new item types, impact assessments and learning content approaches
• Planning work/tasks and tracking progress towards content goals by setting up intermediate targets/milestones
• Setting up processes and systems to ensure high quality of content produced by the team
• Assessing areas of training for the team and developing training modules to train people on developing good quality content sharing of academic journals, analysing student performance data on questions, interacting with external subject experts, interacting with teachers, students and implementation partners for insights about students’ learning
• Driving the recruitment process – creating the JD, formulate assignments, tests, filtering criteria, tracking progress on hiring and close positions within an acceptable timeframe, screening profiles shared by the HR team
• Mentoring team members and building a knowledge management system for Mindspark Vernacular team
• Facilitating the dual flow of communication between the team and senior management

Skillset

Must have

• Previous experience in education sector and/or managing an ed-tech product
• Deep understanding of project and people management
• Excellent written/oral communication skills including the ability to understand and summarise
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently as a self-starter, being detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking skills
• Grit to positively drive the team to achieve timely and quality deliverables
• Ability to read and write any of the vernacular languages from the learning program (Marathi/ Gujarati /Hindi /Urdu /Telugu /Tamil /Kannada /Punjabi /Odia)

Education

Preference to educational degrees and team management

Experience

8-10 years of experience

Relevant experience of working in development sector in managing / implementing education programs
